I love this interview done in 2007 on Countdown with Kieth Olbermann and saw it live. George is just being himself and being brilliant. George makes a point of saying “This is the best news show ever.” “Especially the first 35 minutes”

It was hard for Geoge to get a word in with the big tie guy talking so much BS in part 1. In part 2 George gets more involved and makes some great points. These are great videos, but I prefer George straight, by himself, without 4 other competing voices. Like the high five with Maher though when talking about god.

“I’ve begun worshipping the Sun for a number of reasons. First of all, unlike some other gods I could mention, I can see the Sun. It’s there for me every day. And the things it brings me are quite apparent all the time: heat, light, food, a lovely day. There’s no mystery, no one asks for money, I don’t have to dress up, and there’s no boring pageantry. And interestingly enough, I have found that the prayers I offer to the sun and the prayers I formerly offered to God are all answered at about the same 50-percent rate.”

I personally like Mad TV better than it’s rival on Saturday nights, SNL, and here is a funny video with George Carlin that spoofs Touched By An Angel.
